Rev. Joseph E. Lowery, Civil Rights Leader and Aide to King, Dies at 98

A lieutenant to the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., Mr. Lowery helped organize the Montgomery bus boycott and gave the benediction at President Barack Obama’s inauguration.
