Melanie Stansbury, a Democrat, Wins House Race in New Mexico

Ms. Stansbury, a state lawmaker, prevailed in a special election to fill the seat vacated by Interior Secretary Deb Haaland. She beat Mark Moores, a Republican, in a race centered on issues of crime.
