Man Expected to Plead Guilty in Golden State Killer Case and Avoid Death Penalty

Joseph James DeAngelo Jr. is expected to accept a life sentence without the possibility of parole for a series of murders and rapes in the 1970s and ’80s as part of a plea agreement, one victim and close relatives of two other victims said.
