Police Officer Who Resigned After Fatal Shootings Is Hired as Sheriff’s Deputy

Protests erupted in Wisconsin after the officer, Joseph Mensah, killed a teenager in February — his third fatal shooting in five years. He resigned but was sworn in on Monday as a deputy in a nearby county.
